Clear Street in hiring mode
June 4, 2019

New York-based infrastructure services provider Clear Street is in a hiring mode.

Chris Pento, Co-Founder and CEO of Clear Street, says of new arrivals Salvatore Cangialosi, Jack Nicosia and Antonino Maneri (the latter joining later this month): "At Clear Street, we are improving access to financial markets. Funds of all sizes - from start-ups to multi-billion dollar funds - will use our technology platform to clear and settle transactions.

"Securities lending will be an important part of that platform. Effectively sourcing and locating hard-to-borrow financial products will give our clients the flexibility they need to implement their trading strategies.

"We are bringing together a team of outstanding professionals, each with decades of experience in securities lending and prime services, to lead the development of our securities lending business.

So far, that team includes Salvatore Cangialosi, who has over 35 years of experience in securities lending. He has held leadership roles at TD Prime Services, Credit Suisse, and Smith Barney.

Jack Nicosia has over 20 years of experience in securities lending, including leadership roles at ETC, COR Clearing, and Penson Financial Services. Antonino Maneri has over 20 years of experience in securities lending and prime brokerage services at Morgan Stanley.

"Kathleen Burke has also joined the company to support the Securities Lending team in an operations role," adds Pento. "Together, the team will build one of the most effective securities lending teams on the street."
