BNP Paribas Securities Services has announced two major advances in Asia Pacific, where it has lagged behind its peers:It has established a presence in Beijing, China. Jing Zeng has been appointed as head of BNP Paribas Securities Services China following two years of running the firm's Asia program . She will report to Lawrence Au, the regional head of Asia.
It has expanded its global listed derivatives clearing capability in Asia with admission as a bank clearing member for listed derivatives on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
