Macro picks Maitland
April 12, 2018

Maitland, the global advisory and fund administrator, has today announced that it has been picked to provide fund administration services for MACRO, a media brand representing the voice and perspective of coloured people.

Maitland says it will act as the outsourced fund administrator for the organization's intellectual property investment fund which is focused on the purchase and management of movie rights. Maitland adds that with its integrated platform, advanced analytics and powerful investor reporting tools, access to fund data will be quicker and more accurate than ever before.

Eric Briggs, Chief Strategy Officer & Chief Financial Officer at MACRO, said: "Intellectual property is a highly specialized, niche area and we need a partner with a deep understanding of our fund structure and strategy. Maitland was the provider we felt truly knew our business. Throughout the selection process we were impressed with their willingness to put us in front of their operations and product specialists. Knowing that we have a senior client relationship manager who will be involved every step of the way assures us that Maitland will deliver a seamless solution."
