Bravura appoints new EMEA Head of Wealth Management
September 13, 2017

Bravura Solutions Limited has today announced the appointment of Mike Margetts as London-based Chief Operating Office for Wealth Management for EMEA. Margetts is responsible for successfully delivering and implementing the flagship Sonata administration platform product across EMEA, as well as ongoing support services.

Bravura adds that Margetts has over 25 years of experience in the finance and technology services industries. He has held executive positions at Accenture, Crédit Suisse, Xchanging and Capita. His experience includes responsibility for consulting, technology and line-of-business operations within financial services, running regulated businesses in the UK and Germany, and international responsibility for business operations in the UK, Germany, Italy and India.

He replaces incumbent Harry Storer who joined Bravura in 2014 and retires this month. He is supporting the transition to Margetts on a part-time basis until retirement takes place.

Bravura recently announced that Scottish Friendly Assurance Society – one of the largest mutual life offices in the UK – has gone live with Sonata for its life and pensions business. In May, the group also announced that STANLIB Wealth, part of the Liberty Group, signed a long-term contract for Sonata implementation.
