HSBC has confirmed that Malcolm Pobjoy has joined its securities services business as regional head of business development for the Americas. Pobjoy comes from PNC's global investment servicing business, where he was head of international sales. HSBC has recently announced the addition of several senior technical managers to its fund services team in New York.
