BNP Paribas Securities Services has announced two major advances in Asia Pacific, where it has lagged behind its peers:It has established a presence in Beijing, China. Jing Zeng has been appointed as head of BNP Paribas Securities Services China following two years of running the firm's Asia programme. She will report to Lawrence Au, the regional head of Asia.
It has expanded its global listed derivatives clearing capability in Asia with admission as a bank clearing member for listed derivatives on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
